At 34.4 lbs, the ENGWE N1 Air is one of the lightest e-bikes in ENGWE's catalog, built around a carbon fiber frame and a rear-hub motor with a modest 40 Nm of torque best suited to flat-to-rolling terrain rather than steep climbs. Samsung battery cells in a 10Ah pack are rated for 62 miles of manufacturer range, with 46 miles more realistic in mixed city riding. A smart anti-theft system and a 700c, 29-inch-wheel frame make it an easy bike to store and carry between floors, and the removable battery simplifies charging for apartment dwellers without garage access. At $1,249 it undercuts the mid-drive N1 Pro by $350, trading torque and climbing power for a lighter frame and a lower price.
