The ENGWE EP-2 3.0 Boost is a folding fat-tire e-bike built around a rear-hub motor with 75 Nm of torque and a torque-sensor pedal-assist system for smooth power delivery. A 48V 13.5Ah (648Wh) battery is rated for 75 miles of manufacturer range, with 56 miles more realistic in mixed riding, and a front suspension fork takes the edge off potholes and rough pavement. Hydraulic dual-piston brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear provide strong stopping power, and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain handles shifting. The step-through magnesium alloy frame with an integrated battery folds down to 97 x 53 x 81 cm for apartment or trunk storage. At 71.2 lbs with a 331 lb payload capacity, it sits below the Engine Pro 3.0 Boost in ENGWE's lineup, trading full rear suspension for a lower $999 price.
